Fishnet is a specialty retail store, art gallery and “live” creative environment located at:
46 Helena Street in Santa Barbara, California
There are three principals (Corinna Schmidt, Laura Inks and Clay Bodine) who select work to be shown and offered for sale, manage the store and represent artists and performers.
What is Fishnet’s Purpose?
Fishnet promotes self-expression and the creative process by offering creative opportunities to contemporary street and subculture artists as well as to customers interested in expressing themselves creatively.
But, most of all, FISHNET is about creating “Experiences”

- Promoting celebration
- Offering hip, unusual, street cred products that allow customers to accessorize their own personal style
- Sharing the artmaking process by offering classes and open studio experiences
- Supporting the Fishbon Community and other artists by providing showcase and market for their work
